There are two basic kinds of Bee Pollen. The friendly type is the Endomophile kind. It is fine, powdery and more solid being carried on the legs of bees, wasps and other winged insects looking for nectar on stamens and flower blossoms. This type of pollen is popular as the “breathe easier” type, recommended by physicians to treat hay fever patients with a special type of unfiltered honey. The other kind is Anemophile, which is blown up from plants, flowers and grasses into the air. These are carried by the wind and are considered most stressful for those suffering from allergies.
