When you hear the term celery, you think of the crunchy, green vegetable that adorns your salad. Celery root, leaves, and seeds of the plant offer many health benefits. Celery Typical Dosage

Celery herbal extract can be taken orally in many forms.
As a capsule or tablet take one or two a day of either, as directed by your doctor.
To take the celery seed extract, use ½ to ¼ tsp. a day or as directed by your doctor.
If you prefer the juice, take 1 tbsp. 2 to 3 times a day.
Using the whole celery seed, prepare it as a tea by pouring boiling water over 1 tsp. of freshly crushed seeds. Steep for 10 to 20 minutes before drinking. Drink the tea three times a day.
When taking the oil form, mix 6 to 8 drops of celery oil in water, and drink 2 times a day.

While there are no known interactions, certain precautions should be taken. Do not take if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant.
