Allergies Basics
An Exaggerated response of defense mechanism is an abnormal reaction to ordinarily harmless substance or substances. These sensitizing substances, called allergens, may be inhaled, swallowed or come into contact with the skin. When an allergen is absorbed into the body it triggers white blood cells to produce IgE antibodies. These antibodies attach themselves to mast cells causing release of potent chemical mediators such as histamine, causing typical allergic symptoms. A variety of substance that are inhaled, eaten or which come into contact with the surface of the skin can cause an allergic reaction.
An Exaggerated response of defense mechanism is actually a malfunction of the Defense mechanism of body, which attacks invaders or antibodies. It is this inappropriate defence mechanism, which causes the flair up of allergic symptoms. The term “Exaggerated response of defense mechanism” is often misused. Skin allergies resulting from contact with certain chemicals, or coughing from exposure to excessive smoking are not necessarily the result of true allergic reaction. An Exaggerated response of defense mechanism is sensitivity to a certain substance, which, in similar quantity, is tolerated by non-allergic people.
The allergen is the specific protein substance that a person is allergic to. The presence of this allergen in the body causes a series of chemical reactions in the Defense mechanism of body, which result in individual signs & symptoms.
The tendency to be allergic is inherited; the actual Exaggerated response of defense mechanism is not inherited.

Allergen immunotherapy Favorable Effects is considered when Exaggerated response of defense mechanism symptoms are moderate to severe, occur throughout most of the year, do not respond adequately to medications, and are triggered by an allergens not easily avoided, such as pollens or house dust mite allergens. It is a vaccination Favorable Effects program that is highly effective for allergic patients. It is the closest thing to a "cure" for those who have allergic rhinitis or "hay fever," allergic Problem due to narrowing of air passage caused by allergens such as mites and pollens, and stinging insect Exaggerated response of defense mechanism. Such therapy provides relief to many Exaggerated response of defense mechanism sufferers who cannot avoid the allergens to which they are allergic.
